Adobe Photoshop CS5 is epic. I played around with the new tools quite a bit in this one and the gave me some really cool effects.
I did this because I've been meaning to re-do his tattoos for awhile. That, and I wanted to play with his scars a bit.
He's got the burn scar from Iraq. And then there's the "S" and the wolf that Scratch carved into him, he's also got a wolf paw from Scratch on his back. Nishit has a crap load of other scars, but those are the main ones. The others are mostly just from nicks and scraps as a result of his stupid stunts as a child.
All I changed about his tats was to make the spider smaller, fill in a few stars and add some smudging around the stars.
I just randomly clicked on this so I don't really know much about your work or if this is a part of a series or something, but it makes me curious: who is this man?
Nishit is a character of mine. He was born "Richard James Smith" to a 17 year old mother who was a member of a cult. When his mother agreed to testify against the cult she was put into witness protection. She later had another son with a different man. When Nishit was 18 he was drafted to fight in the war in Iraq. On the last day of his deployment his vehicle went over an IED and he was severely injured (which is what caused the scar on his arm). He was shipped home to a hospital in Denver Colorado. When his mom and brother were driving down to see him from their home in the rocky mountains they were hit by a drunk driver and killed, the driver walked away without a scratch. Nishit lost himself afterwards, because his family was all he had. He changed his name to "Nishit Lyulf Smith" and moved to California where he joined an outlaw biker gang. In the gang he met the love of his life, Micah, and eventually moved with Micah and Micah's two sons back to his home town in the Rockies to escape the gang. Once there he eventually helped Micah gain custody of his third son, and they were later married and Nishit adopted Micah's sons as his own.
YAY! It looks so great seeing it finished!! I love it it turned out so great! I still love his tummy. I think your new tools really payed off you did a great job!!
