Yeah. Dominate means the highest in intelligence and power.

but are we the highest in intellegence and power? For what we have, we are. But animals can be even smarter then us and almost always are. And almost all animals are much more powerful then us, just not in the same ways.

We can destroy the whole earth, the animals can just kill an unarmed man. We understand quatumn mechanics, animals run mostly on instint with basic problem solving skills.

We understand them, but do we need them? No. We could survive just fine without all the crap we have. We are an over evolved species.
